Community Garden:  "I was hungry and you gave me to eat." (Mt. 25:35)  We are building a community garden to provide a place to rest, to pray and to provide a place where people in the community can grow vegetables.  Karen Lehr, chairperson.
Art Show:  "So God created humankind in his image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them." (Gn. 1:27) Through our annual art show, done in conjunction with the Artwalks on the Island, St. Augustine continues the tradition of the Church being a place where artists can express through their work what is deepest and most sacred to the human heart.  Art Runion, chairperson.

Feeding the Volunteer Workers at the William Temple Episcopal Center:  "Jesus took the five loaves and two fish, looked up toward heaven, and blessed them." (Lk. 9:16) Once a month, the congregation provides a homemade dinner to the volunteers who have come to Galveston to help rebuild the Island.


Second Sunday Jazz:  "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord." (Ps. 100) Every second Sunday, we have a Jazz Eucharist.  Sherman Boyer, Music Ministry.
Adult Christian Formation:  "Teach me your way, O Lord." (Ps. 86:11) Faith is a journey.  Faith is about growth.  Every Sunday in the nave, we offer Christian education for adults.  Fr. Chester J. Makowski  Sunday Fellowship:  "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up." (1 Thes. 5:11)  Every Sunday after the Eucharist, we have a time for fellowship where people can sit down and visit with their Church family.  The congregation is invited to bring food and drink to share.
